The front idler sprockes wabble on their shafts. I think he's telling the truth as the adjustment bolts are backed all the way out and it steers really good. Also built a road with it. Folks had had the old td9 crawlers which were heavier built and then updated to the t 340s. Big question is - how is the undercarriage? It has a six way blade which works. Another idea would be to see if the later 500C parts are the same pitch. That T340 was just about the most worthless little crawler ever built but los of the reason was folks tried to get too much work out of them. Questins: 1 Can you heat the adjuster nut so that I can loosen the track chain or is that a bad idea? It's missing a block of steel that the right hand blade lift arm should ride against.
