I partly agree with what you say. Do you have a reply yet? And today it just replaced my camera app. The focussing on the images seem better to me. This is the best way to import photos into Lightroom. And then you could probably send it to other apps I've only done that with Snapseed, but probably works with others. You will see in the Image Size dialog that the pixel dimensions match the pixel dimensions of the source photo minus any cropping you may have done.
